弊社の会社の売上げの90%は広告代理店業です。広告代理店の仕事は以前に書きましたが、その中でも私達はインターネット広告に特化しています。
そもそも広告とは何でしょうか？
広告とは言葉の通り「広く告知する事」です。では広く告知する意味があるのか？と言うと、
即ち広告は意味あるのかと言うともの凄くあるのです。
それは物が売れない3大理由にあります。
モノが売れない3大理由は・・
①その商品やサービスを知らない
②買いたくない、要らない
③あなたから買う理由がない
と言われています。
②は蟹を今日は食べたくないから要らない。散髪にはまだ早いから行かない。チラシはよく分からないからやらない。みたいな感じでしょうか。
③は特にコモディティ商品（どこでも手に入る物）の場合は顕著です。大事な事は貴方から買いたいと思わせないといけません。だってどこでも売ってるんだから。
この②と③に関しては、また別の機会に置いておいて問題は①。商品やサービス、お店を知らないから売れない、と言う理由がこの3つの中でも1番大きいのです。
その証拠に広く告知する為の「広告業界」市場は約6兆円もあります。
市場規模で言えば・・
国内ゲーム市場 約4,900億円
塾や英会話も含めた教育業界 約4,700億円
出版業界 約1兆5,000億円
ブライダル市場 約2兆6,000億円
健康食品市場 約6,700億円
ペット関連市場 約4,000億円
と比較すると、どれだけ広告市場が巨大かが分かると思います。その中でもインターネット広告市場は前年比12%UPという伸び率も凄く、1兆1,000億円程ある市場です。弊社がビジネスをしているのは、そんな伸び盛り真っ只中の市場。
話しを戻すと、中小も含めた企業が、適切な見込み客に知ってもらうために広告業界で6兆円、インターネット広告で1.1兆円も動いているのです。それほど自社や自社商品が知られていない事に対して、企業が敏感ということです。
知られたいと言うニーズがあると言う事は、人が沢山集まれば集まるほど広告価値は高くなります。人がいない所には誰も広告を出しません。TVの視聴率が下がった分、視聴者はSNSやアプリ、ヤフーニュースなどに流れていったのです。
ではインターネット広告とは何でしょうか？
それはネット上のスペースを使って、広告を掲載し、その対価を得るサービスと定義されています。
私達がよく見るYahoo!ニュースやGoogleでの検索、FacebookやInstagram、Twitterやアメブロ、
無料アプリやYouTube、ポータルサイト等々、全てのネットメディアと言っていい程、その殆どが有料会員か広告で成り立っているのです。
今や世界最大の企業と言われるほどになったGoogleに至っては売上げの90%以上は、やはり広告収入なのです。
では代表的なインターネット広告を説明しましょう。
①リスティング広告 → 検索エンジンと連動した広告
②純広告 → 広告スペースを枠売りする広告
③メール広告 → メルマガなどで宣伝する広告
④アフィリエイト広告 → アフィリエイターの人達に宣伝して貰う広告。
⑤動画広告 → TVCMの様にネットで配信する動画CM。
⑥運用型広告 → DSPやDMPを始めとする最新アドテクを使う広告。①も含む。
などがあります。
そしてインターネット広告の大きな特徴が投資対効果（ROI）が分かりやすいという事。
計測しやすい分、広告主であるクライアントからは私達広告代理店やメディアに求める数字は、旧来のマスメディアよりも厳しいものがあります、
どれだけ広告が露出（impression）したか、
どれだけ広告がクリック（CTR）されたか、
どれだけの情報提供（PV、アクセス数）を出したか、
どれだけの人（Uユーザー数）が見に来たか、
どれだけの新規ユーザー（リピーター）がいたか、
どれだけの問合せ、予約、販売（CV数）があったか、
見に来た人の内、何人がアクション（CVR）したか？
どの媒体から、よくCVが取れているのか？
どれだけSNSで拡散されたか？
全てリアルタイムで、数字で把握することが出来ます。それはTVや新聞、看板、チラシ、ラジオ、フリーペーパーには出来ない事です。リアルタイムで把握することが出来るという事は、サイトや広告の改善もすぐに出来るという事。
